This sounds like the webcore and/or javascriptcore bug. If you check the
crash logs you should see something like this in the first section.

I have been working with a user on this and have found the following helps:

In Entourage Preferences > Security, set download pictures to "never".

Click on the Download Pictures link at the top of each message for the ones
you want to view. If you don't add the address to your Address Book, then
you can set to download pictures in messages sent to Address Book contacts
in preferences.

The error seems to be tied to complex HTML where you are scrolling FAST and
Entourage does not have time to completely display the pictures in the
message before you go to the next email and it's especially bad when it's
linking to an image online.

By setting to never download you can go as fast as you want (I found most
were newsletters and sales announcements).

Otherwise slow down and give Entourage time to get all the messages loaded
before going to the next message.
