This sounds like the webcore and/or javascriptcore bug. If you check the crash logs you should see something like this in the first section. Examples of crash reports Error Signature: Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS Date/Time: 2009-08-19 10:14:54 -0700 Application Name: Microsoft Entourage Application Bundle ID: com.microsoft.Entourage Application Signature: OPIM Application Version: 12.2.0.090605 Crashed Module Name: JavaScriptCore <--- Crashed Module Version: unknown Crashed Module Offset: 0x0000382c Blame Module Name: JavaScriptCore <--- Blame Module Version: unknown Blame Module Offset: 0x0000382c Application LCID: 1033 Extra app info: Reg=en Loc=0x0409 Error Signature: Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS Date/Time: 2009-08-19 12:01:48 -0700 Application Name: Microsoft Entourage Application Bundle ID: com.microsoft.Entourage Application Signature: OPIM Application Version: 12.2.0.090605 Crashed Module Name: WebCore <--- Crashed Module Version: unknown Crashed Module Offset: 0x0000c070 Blame Module Name: WebCore <--- Blame Module Version: unknown Blame Module Offset: 0x0000c070 Application LCID: 1033 Extra app info: Reg=en Loc=0x0409 I have been working with a user on this and have found the following helps: In Entourage Preferences > Security, set download pictures to "never". Click on the Download Pictures link at the top of each message for the ones you want to view. If you don't add the address to your Address Book, then you can set to download pictures in messages sent to Address Book contacts in preferences. The error seems to be tied to complex HTML where you are scrolling FAST and Entourage does not have time to completely display the pictures in the message before you go to the next email and it's especially bad when it's linking to an image online. By setting to never download you can go as fast as you want (I found most were newsletters and sales announcements). Otherwise slow down and give Entourage time to get all the messages loaded before going to the next message. -- Diane -- YouTalk mailing list List address: [email protected] List information: http://entourage.mvps.org/support_options/list.html List moderator: [email protected], [email protected] To unsubscribe: mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe
