Hi, Apologies for off topic question. This is not related with Entourage but I hope there are some Microsoft experts who can help me.
There are many cases that when I receive an Office document (PowerPoint, Excel or Word) with an embedded document object (again ppt, doc or xls formats) I am not able to open the embedded object. I receive an error message saying: “The server application, source file, or item cannot be found. Check that the path and the file name are correct, or try reinstalling the server application.” I can open the embedded document using NeoOffice or PC version of MS Office. Rarely I am able to open the embedded documents but I cannot notice any difference in the files. I am using latest updates in the office (12.2.3) and the error was there in the previous versions as well. Any idea what might be the problem and any other solution than using NeoOffice?
