I have a terrible bug in MS PowerPoint 2008. Trying to display the Drawing toolbar causes PP to freeze every time.
I find the bug reported all over the Net, but no answers posted, except for one MS MVP who states "you users won't cooperate." MS PowerPoint 2008 for Mac, all updates OS 10.6.4, all updates MacBook Pro Intel Core Duo In any view, if I select... View > Toolbars > Drawing ...PowerPoint freezes with the SPOD. There is no way to recover. It happens every time. All other MS PowerPoint 2008 toolbars seem to work fine. I deleted the ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.Powerpoint.plist ...restarted, logged in, logged out, etc. but that doesn't help. I also removed all caches and restarted, but that doesn't help. I can not find an answer to the question in any postings. Any help greatly appreciated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Roger S.
