Recently I've had problems in Entourage where, when typing in html mode, there are random substitutions of the little superscript "t" that is normally produced by the keystroke combo <option-t> when my actual input is just the "t" character. Occasionally there are substitutions for the "o" character as well.
If I select the misstyped character and type over it, sometimes I get what I intended, sometimes still the original substitution. This doesn't happen in other programs. Most of the time it happens only with a particular account (IMAP account on an Exchange Server). If I don't correct all the substitutions, Entourage reminds me that the offending message will be sent as unicode. My guess is that my keyboard is showing its age, but I'm wondering if there could be a software issue. I'm taking my keyboard from home to where I use this computer at work to see if it happens at all with a different keyboard. Has anyone seen this happen as a bug in the program itself?
