This started as I was playing/fixing F12 on Wed. and I had installed/updated/downgraded/erased a few packages a bunch of times, to try different versions. And afterwards I wanted to make sure I'd not left any old versions or uninstalled anything, so I had to look at about 8 history transactions to make sure. So I thought, "I know there should be a way to display N history transactions as one unit, that'll be a simple feature that'll save me some time" ... stupid amounts of time later here it is. It's pretty cool though. I think I've got testcases for at least 99% of the codepaths, and it isn't the end of the world if there is a bug in one. Most obvious one to try is: yum history 1..<last> ...but feel free to play, or add/suggest some testcases :).
As we talked about on irc - I fear this is rushing ahead a good bit. History has barely been deployed in a distrorelease for a week. Maybe wait a bit and see what types of features are requested and/or what sort of issues people run into before adding meta-features on top.
