I hit the case when yum throws an exception from within urlgrabber, and
it was due to this patched in Mar 2011 problem:

However, last release was made in 2009 and this patch is still not in. I
am not sure, maybe Fedora is using some intermediate unreleased version.
But such patch should have been in a release. especially when 2+ years
have passed from this critical patch.
