Hi, so last night I was both running Lorax and building a Docker
container, and both were downloading rawhide packages...

I spent some more time looking at solutions, and I found:
http://yum.baseurl.org/wiki/YumMultipleMachineCaching
which is high in google rankings. I registered, but
am not seeing an option to edit the wiki?

Anyways if someone else does, there are a few links to add:

A great (old, but probably still accurate) article. Sadly, no solutions
there.

And of course probably the most important link to add there:
http://www.pulpproject.org/

I didn't quite get to the point of trying Pulp because the server I have
at home
is RHEL7, and there are no packages yet.

The thing I am uncertain about is whether Pulp can do the
"dynamic mirroring" case that honestly I think most people
will want for Fedora.

I started to reposync fedora-20, and hit Control-C on "0ad-data"
when I realized just how much stuff I was signing up to mirror...

The IntelligentMirror project seems pretty dead, and I started
looking at the code but it's kind of a mess...

My next step is to investigate Pulp. I actually knew of the
project but it cycled out. It could at least use a link
from that page, since it just doesn't turn up in e.g.
"https://www.google.com/search?q=yum+repository+mirroring";

Probably most large RHEL/CentOS consumers will
know of it by now, but large pool of smaller users
may not.
