Um.. you said CD-rom? Did you mean DVD-ROM? Is it a VCD? Ether way DVDShrink will only work with a DVD-ROM drive. If it won't read them I'd suspect hardware problems. DVDShrink is a free download but a very nice DVD riper. It creates a VIDEO_TS folder on the hard drive that Nero can defiantly burn.
