I concur...
In fact, I always thought it was a slightly mangled "Aaaaaarrf" - not
"ehhhhffff!".
Could be either, I suppose.

Hmm...the
song isn't in F (I'd describe it as being in B minor) and I
always figured
that opening bit was just something from FZ's large
tape catalog of
"snorks" and other strange voice noises.
