Yes,I've listened to a few more artists and I agree the recordings sound excellent as if they were professionally done and mixed etc rather than someone remembering to stick a tape in the soundboard before the band came on. Presumably the recordings were properly engineered etc and remain a fantastic archive. No Stones yet oddly though ?
