A word from Mr. Edison, about this weekend's Zappathon.
Note: this says he's no longer hosting, it doesn't say the Zappathon is over. But, I dunno; I'd tune in to this one, if I were you...

Just to remind you that this Sunday, April 23rd will be WUSB-FM's
annual Zappathon, starting at noon and going til midnight [EST].  This will
be my last year hosting the event and I look forward to spending time
with co-hosts John Tabacco and Nigey Lennon, showcasing all aspects of
Frank Zappa's musical legacy and trying to cram it all in one twelve
hour swoop.
If you're in listening range (which is most of Suffolk County on Long
Island and parts of southern Connecticut and sometimes, I kid you not,
out on a boat in Nantucket) you can tune us in at 90.1 FM.  People
outside the area are encouraged to tune us in via the web.  Just go to
our website: www.wusb.fm and follow the links for listening.  You won't
be alone.  In past years we've received e-mails from all over the globe
commenting, making requests, and pledging support for the station.
Once again, this year's Zappathon will close out the spring portion of
our crucial fundraising period, which is yet another reason to tune in.
If you do tune in, feel free to call.  If you don't know the number,
trust me, you'll hear it often enough on Sunday.
    See you then.

Not Dead Yet,

Bill Amutis
