Don Preston, original keyboardist for Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention, is 
known to jazz 
and keyboard aficionados for his pioneering contributions in the use of 
synthesizers and 
piano.  The winner of numerous awards, he has played with the likes of John 
Lennon, Peter 
Erskine, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.  Come see the man who legendary 
clarinetist and composer John Carter dubbed "the father of modern synthesis."  
His trio - 
including Andre Cholmondeley, guitarist/vocalist for Frank Zappa tribute band 
Object - will be performing experimental electronic music.  Special guest: 
own Elliott Levin.  This will be the band's only Philadelphia area performance.
