Hi folks, I've got a Shuttle PN15g (which seems to be the same as the PN18). USB id: 07b8:6001
I can see it in syslog (kernel 2.6.19.3): Feb 16 07:06:39 pluto kernel: usb 2-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5 Feb 16 07:06:39 pluto kernel: usb 2-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Feb 16 07:06:39 pluto kernel: zd1211rw 2-4:1.0: firmware version 4605 Feb 16 07:06:39 pluto kernel: zd1211rw 2-4:1.0: zd1211 chip 07b8:6001 v4330 high 00-e0-98 RF2959_RF pa0 g--- Feb 16 07:06:39 pluto kernel: zd1211rw 2-4:1.0: eth2 But scanning doesn't work at all: # iwlist wlan1 scan wlan1 No scan results According to your web page this device is supposed to work (looking at the USB id, at least). There is no such problem if I plugin my old WL-430U instead, either. Can anybody reproduce? Is this a hardware defect? Any help would be highly appreciated. Regards Harri
