Hello. I see on http://linux-net.osdl.org/index.php/Bridge that bridging a wifi device and some other interface depends on the wifi driver being able to spoof the mac address.
I am running a Kubuntu 7.04 on AMD64 (Core 2 Duo) with a custom compiled 2.6.22.6 kernel and the wifi stick is of course a well supported ZD1211. Have I run into the limitation described above? iptraf shows traffic coming from the tap device but nothing coming back from the wifi section of the bridge (br0 made up of eth1 and tap0) Anything else I might want to check?
