I've had an issue with the wlan device ever since i bought it. Essentially, it never works on startup. Every time i boot my machine i have to replug the device 10's of times to get the firmware to load. When it starts working it is 98% of the time very stable. This has been a low priority issue for me because the machine was on 24/7 but now that i would like to hibernate the machine this has become a showstopper.
