I have an idea for a fix. You can help me know if it'll work or not by
running this command in a terminal:

dbus-send --print-reply --session --dest=org.gnome.zeitgeist.Engine

It will rebuild your Zeitgeist index (you will not loose your history,
don't worry). Give it a few minutes to chow through your history. Then
log out/in or reboot, and report whether you still have the bug.

  Running Ubuntu Oneiric Beta 1. Upon booting into either the GNOME-
  Shell or the Unity deskops, I get an error dialog informing me that
  zeitgeist-daemon has crashed.
