Zazen meditation?  How do I go about finding a group in my area?

you can't learn anything about Zen from books: You have to practice
Zazen meditation to learn. Join a group and start Zen there.
Which doesn't mean that you may not read  books about Zen, of course
... But DOING it is more important.

A book which bases on a "rational" access, for people with a western
background:
Benjamin Radcliff, Amy Radcliff, Understanding Zen

A funny one with a psychedelic approach:
Taddeus Golas, The Lazy Man's Way to Enlightment
