IMO, moods are just like weather fronts. You are not a mood. Also, imo, it is a mistake to think that you are going to be struck by lightning and suddenly become a Perfectly Serene, All-Knowing One. Dave, LSD won't make you enlightened. It will just cause new states of mind. Enlightenment, which in my opinion is on the relative plane on-going and never-ending, is not about just tripping on new states of mind. Nor is it, imo, about always being in a good mood. Please be patient. Simply, moment by moment, try to be aware of your own mind-stream, and whenever hateful, greedy or deluded thinking arises, don't allow yourself to be sucked-in by it. Counter hate with love, greed with giving, delusion with clear-seeing. And trust that it will go as it needs to. As Dogen Zenji commented, "This traceless enlightenment goes on forever." May you, and all sentient beings, be happy! Steve
