I personally take the (Shunryu)Suzuki-sensei line and say..yes, a Sufi can
continue to practise the Sufi path, together with zazen and the talks
afterwards from within the Buddhist temple's inner sanctum. However, the Sufi
path being a part of Islam itself...a Sufi would eventually be made to choose
by his Islamic beliefs one way or the other. Unless...well...unless the Holy
Qur'an, Allah, and Mohammed the prophet all come as secondary to being a Sufi
itself
