Hi Bill and all

...*laughter*...The tuba?...

I can't say I've even made an attempt on the above, but I can't help but
picture a certain young girl with it from another place and time. The recorder
on the other hand however, is really an undervalued instrument and I heard the
sound quality of such in the wooden form is in leaps and bounds, and its
magnificence multiplied even more in the hands of an expert on early music.
Check out a piece called 'basse danse la brosse' on YouTube if anyone is
interested. It's just magic

Now, this is obviously off-topic for a Zen forum. It's just that I did think
for a while that an interest in Europe's early classical works were perhaps
somewhat of an oddity for someone like me who holds Zen beliefs. However, Mayka
was right...I should just go for it and enjoy...and I certainly am!

When I first started to learn to play a musical instrument in public school, we
all had to start by learning to play recorders. I ended up on the tuba...Bill!
