Hi Tao. Oh, the Wikipedia article on Nyingma mentions the Chan controversy,
while the Zhentong (Shentong) article mentions the controversy with the
Geluk-pa. I should mention, in all fairness, that there were reasons beyond
simple dogmatics involved in the suppression of the Shentong. The Dalai Lama,
today, seems pretty accepting of them. Of course, he probably doesn't agree
with their philosophy.
