Mayka,

Believe me, it's not  "embarrasing" - it's necessary. The situation here is 
much, much worse than the western media is generally showing and reporting. And 
I'm not talking about the nuclear situation. People are dying in hospitals 
because essential medicine is not getting thru. After one week, there are 
hundreds of thousands of people living in shelters with no toilets, running 
water, heaters, and very little food and blankets. And these people in the 
worst 
affected areas also have the added burden of knowing that many people they  
know 
are either dead and/or missing. And they have no homes to go to when all this 
'finishes' (for us it finishes when the reactors are safe and we can go back to 
watching daytime tv dramas). So Mayka, please don't be "embarrased" for keeping 
this in people's consciousness. Thank you.
