Mayka,

There's no official need for rationing electricity in Kyoto - just something
I'm
doing myself.

Mike

Hi Mike!;

Good to hear that you are well !. Also glad to hear too that although the
electricity has been rationing in Kyoto still you have it.  Do you have gas in
Kyoto?  Is also the gas been rationing in Kyoto?.

What did you make from the hearing  heartbreaking message from Fumiko
explaining
the reality of those people from the affected areas who electricity and gas
doesn't reach them and are exposed to nuclear radiation ...etc?.  It's kind of
difficult for the ones who have never been in Japan and are not there to
witness
the situation to get to the bottom of the situation.  we would all like in here
to know the reality of the situation in Japan at all levels. From what you are
saying the picture I'm gathering is that there are the areas in which the
direct
tragedy has not reached but still is busy due to the evacuation taking place in
affected areas.  How it comes that if Kyoto is not affected the electricity has
been rationing?.  Is the gas also been rationing?.

May I ask you to tell us what is the real reality about all those people Fumiko
mention in her short note and nobody seems to talk about them here in the
west?.  How serious is the radiation escape from the central nuclear?.  How
much
affected will the goods, growing vegetables, fruits trees by the radiation?.
Or
the radiation will be clear in short time?

According to Edgar post warning the ingenuous, the FBI has warned the
population
to be cautious with all the scum that will take advantage and make money out
of Japan situation.  Indeed, the alike thing tends to happen  in wars,
starvation in some areas of the world, children in need, homeless....and the
ones who take advantage of the human misery to make business through that.  So
upsetting and sad!.  The worse damage this kind of people do is that when then
comes somebody genuine, people get suspicious about them. How can the thirst
for
money be so blind and not realice the damage that can be caused by using human
tragedies?.  Don't understand this.

Thank you again for writing and let us know that you are well.
Mayka
