Mel,

The key point is: if you have no goals and see no progress, can you keep the
practice on? We need something in mind to direct our efforts, not just follow
animal instinct.

You say, ' Zen does not speak of progress, or goals'

MEL: Yes

Then why do you sit zen?

MEL: You zazen with posture straight, and breath...because you do. Yes,
everyone wants to be just like the old fella during those yesteryears, but it
would be foolish to dwell upon it. That brilliant 'halo' that may surround your
head may come, or not. If it does, good...if it doesn't, good. You sit and
breath, because you sit and breath

You are better off at an orgyhouse.

MEL: How do I put this without hurting your feelings?....well, at your claimed
and surprising age of 70 you keep blowing the trumpet on this
'orgyhouse' business not in a highschool locker-room, but in a Zen forum where
we are now. Do you actually do anything about it? Have you been getting any at
all? You might want to post it for us in YouTube so we can all watch and learn

That is a place you have no progress or goals.

MEL: Wrong...no orgasm, no progress...no goal..
