Hello all,
My name is Denise, and I live in North Carolina. I am interested in the study of Zen and meditation practices as a way to bring peace of mind. I have only a very rudimentary knowledge of Buddhism, as my faith tradition is Christian, but as a result of stress and depression as of late, am seeking to really start putting some practical use to meditation. I've hoping it will be a useful tool to control negative thoughts, as well as help me be a more peaceful person as a whole. Thanks for being here, I look forward to sharing/learning with you. Denise
