Joe,

Athough the name rings a bell, I don't know Simon personally. You do know that
Lancashire (where he lives) is in England and that Wales is a seperate country,
don't you?

Yes, Welsh is a beautiful language. Actually, case in point, most Americans
I've met aren't even aware that Welsh, and not English, is spoken here - never
mind a completely different country! It would be like saying you must be a
Canadian because you live in the desert ; )

      Mike,

I talk to some Welsh guys pretty regularly on the ham radio from Arizona. Good
operators!

Maybe you know my dear friend, Dr. Simon Child, who practices Pediatrics, and
Ch'an, there. He is a Dharma Heir of our mutual teacher, the late Ch'an Master
Sheng Yen. Let's see, Simon's "Western Chan Fellowship" center is at 24
Woodgate Ave., Bury Lancashire.

Mike, I'd need a full-immersion course in Welsh to learn any of it. I would
love the opportunity. I have no clue as to the pronunciation, for starters. I
bet it is lovely.
