Anthony, you're safe, already!, if you employ the same demon that I use: it is called "YAHOO!". ;-)
There's nothing like a flesh-and-blood Buddha, though. But the stone buddhas are most exemplary and excellent; they just sit on the altar, radiate an example of the equanimous posture of samadhi, and stay out of trouble. So, I dunno, after all; it's all up to us at any moment, and it all keeps on changing. ;-) I'm certainly glad there are no "Rules". Otherwise, we'd all be sunk. I suggest that you can give that demon on your shoulder his/her/its pink-slip, and trust in YAHOO! These flat words on the page are a medium, yes, but they are also their own filter, fortunately or unfortunately. It's not words that can knock us off the path, it's ourselves. ;-) --Joe / demon in the desert, in League with YAHOO! --- In [email protected], Anthony Wu <wuasg@...> wrote: > That is why I have hired a demon to protect me from those enlightened people. ------------------------------------ Current Book Discussion: any Zen book that you recently have read or are reading!
