Funny; even if not the way of compassion, I think it is the way of
comedy, or of levity. This "zen" we practice is a "SPIRIT"-ual
tradition, surely: What, an emoto-gram was omitted? ;-)
No, it's I who am taking things too seriously, I know.
On a more momentous note, we've had the Solstice; so wishing you
all a good post-Solstice season! Up here, it's Summer; down-under,
you have cooler weather.
Pretty relative, how we view something even as large as Nature. Be
well, pretty Relatives!
(Ha, well I've dis-qualified myself from within THAT category; to wit,
I've uploaded several photos of myself to the Group's photo album.
See the cartoons, the pic of a thunderstorm brewing over the Santa
Catalina Range of mountains here in Tucson last July, and the pic of
the wide floorboards in the practice-center worn by generations of
monastics prostrating. Interesting how they followed in each others'
footsteps. On the other hand, maybe each imprint was made by only
ONE practitioner? I have no info about this photo! In some Tibetan
sects, 100000 prostrations is an initiatory practice: the body
repairs itself, the floorboards cannot).
