went to a suckling pig feast and the one and only american there..a chap..was totally disgusting, rude over bearing and plain revolting..his manner was appalling saw a genuine balinese funeral go to the balinese art gallery at ubud..it is amazing art ah the days of "wine and roses".."the salad days"..long since gone merle I would have loved to have seen Bali nearly 40 years ago. I agree that its completely commercialized, which sucks, but I go for the surfing, and to eat nice, cheap, western food that we cant find here. Also, this time I'm just gonna surf in Lombok and Gili Trawangan. I'd like to see some of your mandalas. Is there any way you could take some pix, and post them here? Cheers.
