I found one of the strongest and lasting changes from a daily sitting practice 
has been seeing fingers in all manners of speech. 

That quote seemed to be an adequate description of what happens when I take a 
break and stop disturbing my nervous system so much: there's not out there and 
in here, there's just this, really.
