My deceased neighbor will probably NOT have a death announcement in the local
Tucson, AZ, paper.

I talked on the street with his Brother-In-Law, Dennis, who was tearing apart
the house this afternoon, with the deceased's sister, his wife.

They were loading-up a dumpster dropped off by the City of Tucson, with much of
the old fellow's belongings.

I reclaimed -- or claimed to myself! -- Joe's Bible, bi-lingual,
English-Spanish, the King James translation in English, and thence to Spanish.
It has side-by-side passages in the two languages. A joy to me!, because I
loved Joe, and because Spanish is my second language, by study, and by my use
in Spanish-America where I did Scientific research in Chile.

Surprisingly, not the Catholic Bible!, but the King James, since Joe Nunez was
of Mexican descent. But I have the book, now.

The book must "air-out", as it has the horrible odor of his death. It lay on
his bed-stead, where he lay dead for several weeks in bed before I found him
last week.

The deceased, Joseph Nunez, did not want an "announcement" in the paper, if he
were to die, according to Dennis.

We shall see if he nonetheless gets one. Others are in conflict with his
wishes, Dennis tells me.

Impermanence bites.

--Joe
