joe and many other animals eat the flesh of other animals... by squashing the mozzie.... are we murderers or saints? merle
Merle, They leave their itchy mini-hickeys indiscriminately. Opportunists, they are. The she-animal cannot deposit a load of fertile eggs in stagnant water unless she first has a blood-meal. Yet, the mozzies or skeeters are just carrying out their genetic charge -- I don't know if it is a "mission" -- but, just following their nose/proboscis, based on primal promptings. Are they covered by the first Buddhist Precept, that of Not Killing? I think that you must be the judge (granted, they can and do spread disease). --Joe > Merle Lester <merlewiitpom@...> wrote: > > > You appeared from no where and shamelessly, without any > > reservations, you laid on my naked body...you sensed my indifference, so > > You applied your hungry mouth to me without any guilt or humiliation [snip]
