Merle,

Well, old Mars has been landed on by our little mosquito.

Let's see if she gets in a few good bites, for that meal of red blood, which
will make her oh-so-fertile. Hundreds of baby rovers, then afterwards, roving
the red hills of our future home.

Eden is our home planet, make no mistake. As a kid I wanted to be an
astronaut. Now, I would not do it. I've flown on NASA sub-orbital missions,
but have never left earth gravity. I think space travel will still be pretty
unsafe, too, for the next 150 years, or so.

Who'll be the Zen teacher to hold the first sesshin on the Moon?

And, then, on Mars?

How soon will these things happen?

--Joe
