so you are not an atheist edgar?.
.i remember when you were hammering nils in the other group. .hammer and tongs about god..why oh why did you not say it like it is to him? you betcha... it is so just as you have outlined merle Merle, Am I an atheist? Depends on the definition of God. The Biblical God clearly does NOT exist, nor do all the Buddhist Gods. These are all make believe stories from the childhood of humanity. I define God as the universe itself. That way God clearly DOES exist. There can be no argument about his existence. And science and reason are what tell us about his attributes, and realization is directly experiencing him. In my view God is just another name for Buddha Nature, ontological energy, Tao, etc... The only error with respect to God is giving him supernatural characteristics reason, science and realization don't reveal. BTW, God is not really a 'him', but then he is not really an 'it' either since that implies a physical or material object, neither of which properly captures the living presence of reality. Same problem with calling it 'Buddha' Nature since THE Buddha was a man. Buddha nature is neither male, female, or neutral physical.... Anyone have a better pronoun for God?
