Merle,

I haven't read a lot lately that has lifted and inspired me, but I must admit I
haven't been looking for books lately for that purpose.

Some of the titles that spring to mind of the more memorable books I've read in
the past are... Zen/Buddhist-related: THIS IS IT! - Alan Watts, DOORS OF
PERCEPTION - Aldous Huxley, THE THREE PILLARS OF ZEN - Phillip Kaplau, ZEN AND
THE ART OF MOTORCYCLE MAINTENANCE - Alan Pirsig; Fables: ANIMAL FARM and 1984 -
George Orwell, Stylistically: THE KANY-KOLORED TANGERINE-STRIPED STREAMLINED
BABY - Tom Wolfe, DUBLINERS - James Joyce and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE - Anthony
Burgess.

How about you?

...Bill!
