Dear Phantom Phantom: I am very curious to learn your definition of science.
Suresh: - science means you have methodology to prove anything and any one can conduct those methodologies and understand / realize the truth. Religion states that you need to do meditation to realise god, Have you ever practiced meditation? This is like stating that in the chemistry lab, professor gives two components and tells you a procedure to bring a new product, what you have to do follow that procedure and see if that new product comes out or not? This is what science methodology. Now I am telling you to practice Zen meditation or Ramana Maharishi method to realise a truth, which you do not want to do and said there is no truth? It means what, you are afraid of performing those methodology or you are only interested to make arguments and to have feel of superiority over others, a simple ‘ego’ trip. Phantom: But alas no one has seen it. Suresh: I am seeing it every moment. That is what I have mentioned that I am hearing a kind of dazzling ‘hiss’ sound continuously for last one and half year. Now a days it is so strong, even while watching television I can hear and simply without thoughts and stare at anything. The more and more I practice like what Ramana had said, my thoughts are getting reduced and my identity is getting derived from that sound. This is not only sound, this is also awareness in pure, and hence I describe it as lightsound. This is what raw material for all that exists in this universe, and hence it is what god is. So far what you have known as god is not god at all, it means not those idols. Or what you see in movies. The temple and idol worship has certain meaning, hence it is followed. Meaning of idol worship is that you need to continuously remember god, because it is your own nature. If idols are not kept every nook and corner of the streets, in house, you will not remember. You will only thing of your interest to procure wealth and pleasure, which take you away from yourself, which is god. In islam, they state this space itself is god, but that is what actual truth, but no one is able to concentrate and keep remembering it, our way of Hinduism helped lot many to realise the truth, due to temples and festivals/pujas. Phantom: all religions are spreading the same concept: "Faith" which is pretending to know that which one does not know. Suresh: “Faith” is not required for religion. All you have to do is follow methodology told by great saints. Hence Buddha states only dhamma pada, only path, which is told by him has to be followed. You can realise god even the way Buddha had prescribed. But he never mentions about god, he only states about end of suffering possible, which is the state of god nature as per Hinduism. If you are not comfortable with Hindu ways, follow Buddha ways, certainly your present nature will change. Phantom:: Are you willing to give up so much in search of the truth. To seek the truth sir, you have to let go of all presuppositions Suresh: You do not need to give up anything for finding truth, I am the example for it. Ramana Maharishi states that even family man can realise truth, all one to do is ask your self “who am I’, and see your self what is happening? You need to be sincere in looking into the mind and in your search, you should just do once and runaway with other thoughts, then definitely, it will work, soon you will get lot of spiritual indications that you are on the right path. Because now you have only mistaken this life as real, that mistake can be cleared by self knowledge. That is why this example is given i.e. for rope we mistake for snake and afraid. To get out of this fear what one to do? One need to have clear light to see it is not snake and it is only rope. The light will happen in you if you ask your self ‘who am I’? Phantom: Like a scientist, begin with the null hypothesis which in this case would be "there is no God". Then do your experiment to see if there is one. Time and time again will see that she is nothing but a Grand Delusion. A constuct that fails on physical as well as mental parameters. Suresh: Since you have strongly believe ‘There is no god’, then you can easily follow Buddha, since he never talk about god. Please read Dhamma Pada at least once, and memorise 4 noble truths and 8 fold paths, that is enough, you do not even to make effort to follow. Because if you memorise it will stay in your mind which will work like antibiotic, which will cleanse of your dark areas and leave you with your own light which is inside. In addition if you follow Zen meditation it will accelerate you to your own light soon. -- Thanks and best regards J.Suresh New No.3, Old No.7, Chamiers road - 1st Lane, Alwarpet, Chennai - 600018 Ph: 044 42030947 Mobile: 91 9884071738
