I had not previously heard of this book but I have heard of Eckhart
Tolle. I read a synopsis of the book on Wikipedia. It seems to cover a
lot of the same topics that are taught and stressed in Buddhism and zen
but I didn't see anything new or exceptionally interesting.
It looks like a good book especially for someone seeking knowledge about
a general foundation in this area.

I have formally studied, learned and applied with Boolean logic. I have
also had some instruction logic (inductive and deductive reasoning) in
some college level philosophy courses.
