and what is art and what is not..

not that you do joe but folk do this..

this documentary is by orson welles...and it is excellent

we can never learn enough..

i have been learning about art since i was 7...

i never get tired of it..and make my mind up that that is all there is to know
full stop...

always fresh insight crops up,,,

but be it as it may...

we are here for zen talk...

and so i'll stick to the point..

thank you for your feed back joe..

merle..

by the way...

one of my favourite motto's

:art is life and life is art...

enjoy and learn both art and life

Merle,

I started understanding it in 1968, or maybe a bit earlier. No problems!

Haven't looked at any tutorial videos.

I have about 7 or 8 linear feet of bookshelf space containing art and
photography books. I am not challenged at all in that department.

My teachers on college were also very good to me.

The Art teacher I appreciated most, however, taught the architecture of Gothic
Cathedrals. He was a mentor. The late Prof. Robert
Branner. Deceased, he passed away unexpectedly even before I
graduated. Very sad. We had the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine just a
couple blocks from Campus as a "teaching example".

I regularly haunted all the museums of New York during 1970 - 1985.

But ...anything you'd like to discuss? *If* it bears upon Zen? TNX,

--Joe
