PS Careful of snakes, yes. Snakebites in Arizona are dangerous too; our
Diamondback Rattlers are notorious.
PPS Now I'm thinking of the koan with the wording of an old master that
begins, addressd to the congregation of Ch'an monks: "On this mountain, there
is a turtle-nosed snake; have any of you seen it?"
And how about the koan with the piece of a snake in the soup, discovered by the
Master as he was about to eat it, and said: "What's THIS?!": remember what the
Cook did? ;-)
