left on the cushion and not integrated into daily life then it's not true
insight. Same with satori, I would think. <br/><br/>Remember, Vipassana is
simply insight into impermanence and cause and effect. Everything else flows
from that. But it's not the same as the insight a physicist would have - it's
experienced. And experienced in this body/mind, so taken where ever this
body/mind is whether on the mat, doing the dishes, taking a dump etc.
<br/><br/>To be at that place beyond cause and effect (karma, if you like) and
conditions is Nirvana. It can be realised now in this very lifetime and there
are many paths that can lead us to where we already are. Yours is just one.
