Oh, I see.

You know, I have sometimes wondered about those old cowboy songs, too.

But, you see, they go with the territory, here, and a native doesn't question 
everything very deeply.  ;-)

But, now, those Gaucho songs of Argentina, and the Paniolo songs of the 
Hawai'an ropers... .
