Bob,<br/><br/>I guess it's always important to remember that books are other
people's experiences and insights, but sometimes we can read a word, line or
paragraph where the symbolism of the words is transcended into a kind of grace
that affects us experientially. Harding's book did that for me. <br/><br/>I've
also started to research the work of John Wren-Lewis because you mentioned him
along side of Harding. I have found that to be quite synchronous as the
mystical experience he describes is remarkably similar to the one I experienced
(unbidden and out of the blue). I came to Zen from this experience rather than
the other way around, so I find similar experiences particularly interesting.
