Saw him at Carnegie Hall in New York, in 1980 or 81.
K. was at that time 80 years old.
An elegant man elegantly dressed elegantly who walked onto the bare stage and
sat down on the wooden chair and talked for 90 minutes; afterward, he took many
questions.
I sat in one of the side loges, the one on the left wall seen from the stage,
and nearest the stage. My friend Barbara was a fairly famous novelist and
spiritual writer whose guru was Sai Baba.
The house was perfectly packed and it was a warm Spring afternoon.
