I'm glad you gave you definition of reason below and explained how you use the 
term.  It's pretty much the same as I use it with the following exceptions:

- Human reason does not REFLECT the World of Forms.  Human reason CREATES the 
World of Forms.

- Using reason may or may not 'be Zen' (done as a part of zen practice).  Like 
any other activity it all depends on how it's done.  If it's done while 
creating duality and with attachment then it's not zen practice.  It it's done 
holistically and without attachment then it could be and in fact probably is.
