Hi Meryl, I'm 64. Was a elementary teacher for 29 years. Was raised a Roman Catholic but started losing my faith in junior high school. Gave my faith one last chance in college by taking a couple of theology courses. Lost it for good then. After college started my searching for something I could believe in. Psychology became a substitute for religion, but I was attracted to Eastern philosophy. Enjoyed Alan Watts. Wrote a book about my searching and published it myself - The Search For Being. Retired early from teaching to take care of a very handicapped brother. Became a gang stalking target - http://www.nostasi.com. Been spending the last seven years trying to expose Government Gang Stalking. Have embraced the ideas of David Bohm whose ideas were influenced by Krishnamurti. I agree with him thought is the cause of our problems. That idea made me gravitate again toward zen and this list. Bonnie
