love thomas merton!.

i have several books of his...

i do not have set rules

see awakening when  gazing intently at the centre of a flower...
see awakening when  looking at the beauty of the cloud formations
see awakening in the autumn coloured leaves
see awakening in the good the bad and the ugly
 awake

  dancing betweens those two poles
some days  singing with joy and laughing
 other days  sad and crying
  trying to remain balanced
 alert
 and awake to the world

and you?

 merle

Merle,

They're not the words or the imagery I would use to describe awakening, but I
also wouldn't want to throw the baby out with the bath water either just
because of the difference in vocabulary.

Mike
