Right.  It can't be easy to insure.  But parents "sign-up" for "the Difficult", 
God bless 'em!

My own parents could not insure my own good, or best, behavior.  I was a good 
kid, but got in trouble (an experimenter, you know; goes with the territory).  
I hope we're all experimenters, at least sometimes.

We almost have to be.

Even in Zen training (whether we add "-Buddhist" or not), there is no fixed 
teaching.  No written Law.  Although the Dharma straightens us out when we 
trult TASTE it: the opposite of Booze.
