And, they are domesticated animals, with a very long selective breeding history 
of life alongside Humans, for Human purposes.

We should look at videos of Wolves, say, to see examples of behavior of 
domestic-dog-precursor animals not much influenced by 15,000 years of selection 
by Humans, except by aversion.

We CAN see such videos: in USA, some are produced by PBS-TV; the "Nature" 
series.  Or perhaps "Nova".
