yeah Fudo-san, why don't you use language that is pejorative towards men? (said sarcastically of course) > Maybe the bigger question is > why a society that, at least in the main stream, no longer accepts > racial slurs, finds such language acceptable. I don't find it acceptable, but then again, I don't want to be perceived as "bitching" and as Fudo-san has said "It is not serving to say "quit crapping". Shit happens. It is serving to clean it up, and take it to the garden, and use the fertilizer as productively as possible." so I guess I'll take all the "crap" and use it as fertilizer. > And no, AC, this isn't > politically correct bullshit. We put up signs on the men's and womyn's bathroom that said "mankind" ,,, the men didn't have any problem entering the men's bathroom but the womyn would stop, step back, read the sign and start to walk away. we approached them and told them it was an experiment and it was OK to go into the womyn's bathroom (we made sure no men went in). They still would not enter! Language is very powerful and I don't think people really think when they speak or some do and don't care. that old saying "sticks and stones can break my bones but names will never hurt me" what a crock of crap. -- Jusan (KC) *Question Everything and Choose Only what is Right for You* ------------------------ Yahoo!
