Dear Al, The traditional buddhist colors do not include avacado green or teal. The Zen traditional Zen colors (Zen forum remember..not Buddhist forum even though we are very concerned with the Dalai Lama right now) are black and brown.(the Japanese did not distinguish between black and what we call dark blue). Each Buddhist sect has thier own traditional colors..the Dalai Lama's are maroon and yellow. NO matter what the excuse, the colors are lousy and hard to read.
